Effect of Chernobyl explosion still lingers

The Californian - Last week, Texas Tech University released a statement from four University biologists, including Ron Chesser, director of the university's Center of Environmental Radiation Studies and the first American scientist allowed into the exclusion zone in 1992. The statement said their research has found no evidence of genetic mutations, but added much remains to be learned from the disaster.
