San Francisco Chronicle - The leading hypothesis, outlined in a report, co-authored by Krejca and James Cokendolpher and published Sept. 30 by the Texas Tech University Natural Science Research Laboratory, is that the pseudoscorpion started out as a surface species and adapted through necessity and natural selection to total darkness underneath the granite boulder piles.
